It’s Friday and I love Friday’s (and petunias) !

Usually.

This one, a little weird.

I’m going on about an hour and a half (max) of sleep and feel like im coasting through the morning on auto pilot. I had planned on running in the grocery store after dropping off kids this morning to get all the things (that were on my list) that I didn’t get while I was there yesterday (with list in hand).  This happens way too often.

I went as far as parking and getting out before getting right back in my car and going home to pour another cup of coffee.

It wasn’t Walmart or I might have just marched right on in. 😉

I think I probably shouldnt even be driving. I feel like I would fail a field sobriety test right now.

Today is a tough and bittersweet day for our family.  It would be a really good day to be one of these boogers. Their only concerns are eating, sleeping, being everywhere I am at all times, and thunder. Bella is freakishly terrified of thunder. Any advice on this?

I received several messages wanting to know where my coffee cup came from in my last post so I wanted to share in case anyone else was wondering. Walmart! Dark roots and no makeup not included.

A positive that will come out of this day is pizza and Live PD. Without fail we have pizza every Friday night and if you aren’t watching Live PD then what are you doing?  Seriously, watch it! And if you like it (which you will) it’s on Saturday nights too!

You all just realized how lame my weekends really are.

It’s Friday so let’s get to another item I couldn’t do life without. Like last week and the week before that, its nothing incredibly exciting. It really is awesome though 🙂

I love sleep. Love, love, love it. Since my hysterectomy sleep has been something I dread. There have been nights I never once fall asleep. How is that possible? Some nights I fall asleep and by 2:00am I might as well get up and do laundry because there’s zero chance of falling back to sleep.

One night a couple of years ago my husband had the light on so I covered my eyes with something (I cant remember what) and I went out faster than ever. After that night I bought a sleep mask and it’s been life changing.

It’s like handing a baby her pacifier. It just soothes me and I love it. It’s not a miracle cure for my sleep issues, but it definitely helps. Chances are still good that when you get up for your overnight bathroom run, im awake playing Candy Crush.

You can find these little miracles just about anywhere.

I’m just going to be honest, I’m a complete moron when it comes to building a web page.  A total and complete

I put in hours of work before I realized the new format wasn’t going to be compatible with all devices. Hours. And Hours. And Hours.  Can I not just hire someone to come sit with me for a few days and get it all figured out? Maybe a cleaning lady that really knows her stuff? 2 for 1? 😉

I want to try a couple of new things with you guys. When I was doing this about a year ago I received a lot of questions about different things from products, to my kids, to my favorite toilet paper (I can provide proof 😉 etc…

My Slippers!

I know, super boring but they are AMAZING. My feet stay cold so they are the first thing I put on when I get home and the first thing on when I roll out of bed. You will even see me at the mailbox in July when it’s 99 degrees outside with these precious babies on. They have been around awhile and are really worn but they are perfect!!

Yes, they are pricey. Stupid pricey, even on sale. Like REALLY stupid pricey.  But I mentioned they were perfect, right?  You can wear them inside or outside which is great. IF I had to give one negative it would be the ties come untied from time to time and for a $69 pair of slippers i’d like the things to at least tie themselves back if they are going to do that. They dont 🙄

 I found these Lugz on Amazon for $15.99. One review says they are cozy but too tight. This is probably true. When you first put them on they feel very snug but it doesnt take long for the fur to calm down. Patience and faith people. Mine are actually slipping a little now. Sad, but true. 😦  Another option, these Minnetonka’s

They are $27.99 on Amazon with 5 star reviews. Caleigh’s slippers are identical to mine only the Minnetonka brand and she loves them 🙂

So…….if you don’t own a pair of cozy slippers please, please  stop being so cruel to yourself. 😉
