I’m definitely blaming the guy that charged up my bank card this morning. This is an experience and lesson I have zero interest in. Why can’t people just behave? A thief makes my top 5 list of things I can’t stand. At least he entered his shipping address. That part makes me smile 🙂
Because this gentleman (or complete loser, whichever you prefer….I prefer the latter) has taken up my entire day, im going to have to cut todays post short. I’ve got other life stuff to do, unfortunately.

It’s Friday so let’s get to another item I couldn’t do life without. Like last week and the week before that, its nothing incredibly exciting. It really is awesome though 🙂
I love sleep. Love, love, love it. Since my hysterectomy sleep has been something I dread. There have been nights I never once fall asleep. How is that possible? Some nights I fall asleep and by 2:00am I might as well get up and do laundry because there’s zero chance of falling back to sleep.
One night a couple of years ago my husband had the light on so I covered my eyes with something (I cant remember what) and I went out faster than ever. After that night I bought a sleep mask and it’s been life changing.
It’s like handing a baby her pacifier. It just soothes me and I love it. It’s not a miracle cure for my sleep issues, but it definitely helps. Chances are still good that when you get up for your overnight bathroom run, im awake playing Candy Crush.
You can find these little miracles just about anywhere.

Question. Why do we (or is it just me) feel obligated to purchase the same thing (junk) every single year? I do not love my kids more today than I will tomorrow. Or do I? I don’t know. I guess I will let you know how tomorrow goes. In all seriousness, It’s the same box with raspberry (gross) chocolates when you thought you were getting caramel, the same bears they’ve marked up 50%, and the bags that end up costing more than what’s inside. Is it not a racket or am I all by myself here?
Next year, I’m buying a cookie cake and telling everyone how much I love them.
